Role: Head of M&A Advisory

Role Overview

The Head of M&A Advisory will be responsible for originating mandates and leading end-to-end transactions for mid-market and founder-led clients. The role requires a blend of client origination, strategic advisory, hands-on execution, and entrepreneurial thinking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, lead, and scale an M&A advisory practice.
  • Originate and manage M&A mandates with mid-market and founder-led businesses.
  • Lead transactions end-to-end, including deal structuring, negotiation, and execution.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients on strategic and transaction-related matters.
  • Develop new business opportunities, partnerships, and referral networks.
  • Establish processes, standards, and a scalable advisory platform.
  • Hire, mentor, and grow the M&A team over time.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 12+ years of experience in M&A, investment banking, or transaction advisory.
  • Proven track record of originating and executing M&A transactions.
  • Strong relationships with founders, promoters, investors, or corporate clients.
  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and grow a business.
  • Hands-on execution style and comfort operating in a lean, growth-oriented environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
