Vice President International Mobility
Summary of Role
This role is centered on managing the entire Employee Mobility program for international assignees (Expats) and short-term travelers. It involves deep expertise in immigration, compliance, policy administration, vendor management, and employee support, particularly for a global or multinational organization.
Key Responsibilities Overview
- Program Management: Lead and manage the overall Employee Mobility program for Expats and Short Term Travelers, including maintaining HR records for these populations.
- Compliance & Risk: Ensure strict compliance with all statutory, regulatory, immigration (visa), and individual tax requirements in various jurisdictions.
- Policy & Strategy: Research, benchmark, and develop/implement HR strategies, policies, programs, and procedures specifically related to International Assignments and Company Leased Accommodation.
- Advisory & Support: Counsel and advise staff (Expats) on eligibility, entitlements, visa application processes, and policy interpretations. Also advise departmental managers.
- Administration: Manage specific programs like language training and health/safety for the Expat population.
- Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong relationships with consulates (directly or through consultants) and manage mobility vendors.
