We are partnering with a large, globally recognized services organization undergoing a strategic transformation in Asia. As part of this transformation, the company is relocating key regional functions from Singapore to India , with Human Resources identified as one of the most critical strategic pillars.


This is a newly created, high-impact leadership role based in Gurugram, responsible for building and leading the regional HR organization for South East Asia and Japan .


The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end HR strategy for South East Asia and Japan, aligned with global and regional business objectives
  • Establish and scale the India-based regional HR team , hiring both internal transferees and external talent
  • Oversee all core HR functions including:
  • HR Operations & Compliance
  • Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
  • Rewards, Compensation & Benefits
  • Learning & Leadership Development
  • Employee Relations & Engagement
  • Drive organizational design, change management, and culture integration as regional functions transition to India
  • Partner closely with regional CEOs, CFOs, and functional leaders across Asia
  • Ensure strong governance, risk management, and compliance with local labor laws across multiple countries
  • Act as a key contributor to global HR initiatives and transformation programs


Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Senior HR leader with 15+ years of progressive experience , including leadership roles at regional or global level
  • Proven experience managing HR across multiple Asian markets (SEA experience essential; Japan exposure highly valued)
  • Strong background in shared services, regional hubs, or large-scale transformation environments
  • Demonstrated capability in building and scaling teams in India
  • Experience working with global matrix organizations
  • Strategic mindset with strong execution capability
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
