We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Full Stack Engineer to join our team. This role is located in Chennai, TN.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Provides application software development services or technical support.
- Understands and follows the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Writes new programs, working with standard application system designs and specifications and utilizing standard procedures and techniques.
- Designs and codes programs.
- Prepares and executes test cases and revises programs as necessary.
- Documents installation and operating procedures.
- Interfaces with architects to design, code, test and implement application programs.
- Proposes innovative, creative technology solutions. Contributes to the achievement of team objectives.
- Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt quickly to changes.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), good interpersonal skills.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Extensive experience with JavaScript/Typescript, Angular, Material and CSS
- Extensive Java, Spring, J2EE, Spring Boot and other distributed technologies n-tier application experience
- SQL skills with experience in Oracle
- Experience with Microservice based, Micro front ends & REST API
- Experience with Tomcat, Linux, Cloud. Gitlab (git + CI/CD), MAVEN, SVN
- Experience with integrating various systems e.g., mainframes, web services etc.
- Experience with Tomcat, WebSphere and/or WebLogic
- Experience with automate build tools and continuous integration (Maven, Jenkins, etc.) strongly desired.
- Work experience in Agile and Waterfall environments
- Knowledge of IntelliJ, VSC, Docker, Splunk
- Knowledge of XML/XSL
- Knowledge with middleware & Enterprise Messaging Systems such as MQ
Tech Stack:
- Development experience using Java8 or higher versions, Angular 8, Spring, Springboot, RESTful webservices, JMS/Kafka, Basics of Database
- Working knowledge in J2EE – Servlets/JSP/XML, RESTful services
- Experience in Frameworks – Spring, Springboot, Swagger
- Middleware – JMS, Apache Tomcat, MQ, Kafka
- Oracle 10g/12c PL-SQL
- OS - Unix commands and Shell scripting
- Web Technologies – HTML, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript, JSON
- Expertise in Eclipse, SVN, GIT, Maven
- Scripting languages such as JavaScript
- 3rd party API and plugins – Junit, log4j, Jackson, Findbugs, Checkstyle, PMD
- DevOps tools – Jenkins, Maven, Sonar, Splunk
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required. 7-14 years of experience in software development required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus. Job holder must have understanding interdependencies and business impact of future IT plans. S/he must have prior lead experience selecting and implementing vendor-specific methodologies and prior consulting experience with structured methodologies. Job holder must have broad experience with multi-platform development tools and toolkits.
