About the Department

Financial Process Services (FPS) is a vertical of TresVista that works with major clients in the spectrum of the financial services industry. FPS caters to their needs related to accounting & financial data extraction and spreading and enables holistic view based on summarized data & information which is consumed at various levels and by finance professionals. Exposure to processes related to core finance and accounting clubbed with innovative techniques and software adds value to the professional growth of aspirants looking for a career in the industry of finance


Responsibilities:


Technical Understanding:

  • Comprehensive understanding in financial data analysis and reporting, including investor reports, dashboards, and performance metrics with strict compliance to IFRS/GAAP standards
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end accounting operations across multiple entities, including journal entries, reconciliations, month/year-end closing, and variance analysis for strategic insights
  • Strong experience in portfolio monitoring, exposure reporting, and maintaining accurate financial databases; ensuring actionable insights are generated and aligned with client expectations
  • Ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance through effective team coordination, timely resolution of inquiries, and adherence to accounting frameworks
  • Ability to deep dive and generate action-oriented reports for clients and suggest process improvement
  • Detailed understanding and ability to produce meaningful analysis and reports using proprietary and third-party software and databases (such as SAP, Netsuite, QuickBooks, Credit Lens, Pitchbook, FactSet, Cap IQ, etc.) designed to cater to the finance industry


Delivery Management:

  • Play a key role in managing delivery teams, driving growth and bring subject matter expertise to enhance our FPS services
  • Defining the scope of engagements, managing timelines, and ensuring timely delivery
  • Providing quality oversight on projects and document timely and continuous feedback for performance improvement
  • Proven ability to set up new processes and establish quality measures ensuring efficient and effective execution of all key aspects of client deliverables
  • Act as an escalation point for all R2R related issues raised by the client. Ensure the fast resolution of these issues and find ways as well to prevent them from happening again
  • Ensuring strict adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Driving improvements in productivity and efficiency using appropriate efficiency metrics (KPIs)
  • Six Sigma, LEAN, or project management certification would be an added advantage but not mandatory


Relationship Management:

  • Retaining and expanding existing client relationships by increasing integration
  • Experience of working with overseas clients preferable


Team Management and Leadership:

  • Experience of managing teams working with overseas clients on financial processes preferable
  • Delivering effective training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members
  • Contributing to the overall operational strategy for FPS function and responsible for the implementation of the strategy within the team
  • Conflict resolution and maintaining professional and inclusive working environment
  • Goal setting and performance review of direct reports. Able to deliver timely and document-based performance feedback
  • Recruiting and retaining the highest quality talent into the team


Prerequisites

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (US GAAP / IFRS)
  • Expertise in financial statement analysis, alternative investment markets, fund structures, and related instruments
  • Proficiency in ERP and reporting tools such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, etc.
  • Advanced skills in data analysis and reporting using Excel (formulas, pivots, lookups, automation) and visualization tools like Power BI
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience interpreting financial and operational data.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management, collaborating effectively with senior finance professionals.
  • Proven experience in team leadership, performance management, and delivering results in fast-paced, client-centric environments.
  • High degree of ownership, attention to detail, and commitment to process improvements and automation.
  • Ability to manage cross-cultural boundaries


Experience

  • An accounting professional with a minimum of 9-13 years of relevant work experience


Education

  • Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA (US), ACCA (UK)


Compensation

  • The compensation structure will be as per industry standards
