Position: Vice President/Director, Advertiser Sales
Work Location: Mumbai (Malad)
About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Advertiser Sales leader to drive and scale global third-party demand across our advertising solutions, operating from India.
This leadership role requires deep expertise in programmatic advertising, prior experience with a global SSP, and a strong track record of building high-performance revenue engines. The incumbent will be responsible for driving global demand partnerships, delivering sustained revenue growth, and influencing product and inventory strategy in alignment with market needs.
Roles & Responsibility:
Strategic Revenue Leadership:
- Own and deliver global revenue targets across third-party demand channels.
- Develop and execute scalable sales strategies to accelerate business growth.
- Expand existing partnerships while onboarding new advertisers, agencies, and demand partners globally.
Demand & SSP Ecosystem Management:
- Leverage prior experience with global SSPs to strengthen demand integrations and monetization strategies.
- Build and deepen relationships with key decision-makers across DSPs, agencies, trading desks, and brands.
- Drive bidder relationships and optimize performance-led demand partnerships.
Team Leadership & Capability Building:
- Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing advertiser sales team.
- Establish performance metrics, sales governance, and operational excellence standards.
- Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Client & Stakeholder Management:
- Independently manage strategic accounts and ensure long-term relationship development.
- Partner closely with Account Management and Ad Operations teams to ensure seamless campaign execution and client satisfaction.
- Provide structured market feedback to Product and Technology teams to influence roadmap and solution development.
Market Presence & Thought Leadership:
- Represent the organization at global industry forums, conferences, and partner engagements.
- Strengthen brand positioning within the global programmatic ecosystem.
Required Skills:
- 1215+ years of progressive experience in digital advertising and programmatic sales.
- Proven track record of revenue delivery with global SSP ecosystems.
- Demonstrated success in building and scaling demand partnerships globally.
- Strong experience working with bidders and programmatic buying platforms.
- Engineering degree from a reputed institution (Tier 1 preferred) with strong technological acumen.
- Business degree from a reputed institution (Tier 1 preferred) with demonstrated commercial depth.
- Strong strategic orientation with sharp business acumen.
- Excellent communication and executive presence (written and verbal fluency in English is mandatory).
- High ownership mindset with the ability to operate in fast-paced, growth environments.
- Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) with the ability to build financial models, commercial simulations, and executive-level presentations.
- Collaborative leader with strong cross-functional influencing skills.
