Vice President

The VP of IT will serve as the chief architect of our technological future, bridging the gap between massive data operations and enterprise business systems. In the Bureau space, where data is our primary product, you will lead the strategy for high frequency data ingestion, cloud-native scoring engines, and a resilient global infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring our technology stack is secure, audited, and capable of supporting real-time financial decisioning at scale.

Responsibilities

1. Manages and oversees the operations of IT including Service desk, desktop support, network systems operations, data center, Rhel and Windows OS and hardware environments.
2. Develops, reviews, modifies and implements SOPs for all facets of technology operations
3. Plans and implements security measures and preventive maintenance schedule; monitor and report on performance and usage
4. Participate in all internal and external audits, guaranteeing that all documentation and materials are accurate, current and readily available
5. Provides technical direction and assists in troubleshooting and resolving problems to ensure maximum uptime
6. Implements and manages the team to service level expectations vii. Directly supervises the System Admin and Network admin team
7. Own and manage the relationship with third-party managed service providers to ensure the highest level of services to business ix. Prepare and manage budget and operating plan for areas of responsibility
8. Work closely with CISO and IT procurement team xi. Being transparent with the team about challenges, failures, and successes.
9. Writing progress reports and delivering presentations to the relevant stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Excellent knowledge of IT Systems and Infrastructure
2. Excellent knowledge of Secure configuration management and Patching of the infrastructures
3. Excellent expertise and experience in managing IT infrastructure with RHEL Operating System
4. Experience in handling internal and external IT audit
5. Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
6. Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
7. Must have very good logical reasoning.
8. Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills.

6+ years of work experience with Windows

6+ years of work experience with Red Hat Linux
