Vice President Compliance

Experience: 15+ Years | Location: Pune

We are hiring a senior Compliance leader to provide data-driven oversight, effective challenge, and strategic guidance across business and compliance functions. The role focuses on managing Compliance, Financial Crime, and Reputational Risk while strengthening governance, controls, and regulatory adherence across global transaction cycles.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and challenge on compliance risks across business activities, processes, systems, and change initiatives
• Identify, investigate, and manage market abuse, financial crime, AML/KYC issues, and regulatory breaches
• Drive implementation and maintenance of compliance policies aligned with global and jurisdictional regulations
• Partner with 1LOD, Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams to deliver end-to-end risk management
• Lead strategic compliance initiatives, manage teams, and drive continuous improvement of control frameworks
• Advise senior stakeholders and leadership on compliance, governance, and regulatory matters

Key Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in Compliance within global banking or financial services
• Strong expertise in regulatory frameworks, risk and control governance
• Proven experience in business-facing Compliance advisory and transaction cycle oversight
• Ability to influence, challenge, and engage senior stakeholders
• Experience operating in complex, fast-paced, global environments
• Strong leadership and people management capabilities
