Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly driven and strategic Vice President Brand Partnerships to lead our revenue growth by building strong relationships with brands, agencies, and key decision-makers. This is a senior individual contributor role focused on new business acquisition, key account growth, and long-term partnerships within the influencer marketing ecosystem.

The VP will own the complete sales lifecyclefrom prospecting and pitching to closure and account expansionwhile working closely with Planning, Pricing, and Campaign Management teams to deliver high-impact influencer campaigns.

This role requires someone who understands the influencer marketing landscape deeply, thinks commercially, and can consistently close high-value deals.


Key Responsibilities
Revenue & Business Development
  • Own monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets for brand partnerships.
  • Drive new business acquisition by onboarding mid to large-scale brands across categories (D2C, FMCG, Fintech, EdTech, Gaming, Apps, etc.).
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads through outbound prospecting, inbound leads, networking, and referrals.
  • Lead end-to-end sales cycles: discovery, pitching, proposal creation, negotiation, closure, and onboarding.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts to maximize lifetime value.


Client Relationship Management
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key enterprise clients.
  • Build long-term strategic relationships with CMOs, Brand Heads, Performance Marketing Heads, and Agency Partners.
  • Ensure high client satisfaction, retention, and repeat business.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts to understand goals and propose influencer-led growth strategies.


Pitching & Strategic Planning
  • Collaborate with Planning & Strategy teams to create customized influencer marketing solutions and pitch decks.
  • Translate client briefs into commercially viable influencer strategies.
  • Present proposals confidently to senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Provide market insights, creator trends, and campaign recommendations to clients.


Internal Collaboration
  • Work closely with Pricing teams to negotiate influencer costs and maintain healthy margins.
  • Partner with Campaign Management to ensure smooth campaign execution post-sale.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams on client expectations, market needs, and product improvements.
  • Support founders in strategic partnerships and large enterprise deals when required.


Market Intelligence & Thought Leadership
  • Stay updated with influencer marketing trends, platform changes, creator economy developments, and competitor activities.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.
  • Help position the company as a trusted influencer marketing partner in the ecosystem.

Required Qualifications & Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in Brand Partnerships / Sales / Business Development, preferably in Influencer Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Advertising Agencies.
  • Proven track record of closing high-ticket brand deals.
  • Strong network with brand-side marketing leaders and agency stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of influencer marketing platforms, creators, and campaign structures.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment with ownership mindset.
  • Experience handling enterprise or large brand accounts is a plus.
