About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager, Vice President


In this role, you will:

  • Support, manage and execute diverse and complex functional areas related to external financial reporting requirements
  • Lead stakeholder development by maintaining ongoing interaction that increases their awareness, understanding, accountability, and engagement in the reporting process
  • Lead implementation of complex projects and initiatives impacting one or more lines of business
  • Lead and direct accounting technical regulatory capital and reporting guidance
  • Participate in the company’s coordination of the regulatory reporting reviews performed by US Federal Banking and Broker Dealer agencies
  • Ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met and works with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
  • Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers
  • Lead team to achieve objectives
  • Act as a liaison for regulatory reporting issues with both internal and external audit staffs, as well as banking and broker dealer regulators
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Enterprise Finance
  • Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Finance, Accounting, Financial Reporting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 2+ years of Leadership experience


Desired Qualifications:

  • BE/B. Tech/BS/BA or higher in Computer Technology or Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics or Business
  • Hands on experience in US Regulatory Reporting and Knowledge on FFIEC 101, FFIEC 031, FRY 9C Call reports and SEC reports
  • Good to have exposure on Automation tools preferably Alteryx and Workflow process
  • Good to have experience on Reporting tools like Power BI and Tableau
  • Ability to lead and mentor peer Consultants/As


Job Expectations:

  • Strong Axiom SL & SQL Knowledge
  • Basel implementation for implementing regulatory capital and RWA calculation (RWA or Basel Calculator) involving both AIRB and STD approaches in Axiom SL tool.
  • Strong people and team management skill - handling team size of twenty members
