Job Summary:

We seek a Toxicologic Pathologist with expertise in toxicology study design, oversight, and histopathology evaluation. This role involves toxicologic and pathology assessments, supporting drug development.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Manage pathology functions at Sai Life Sciences.

·         Conduct gross and microscopic evaluations of tissues from rodent studies (acute, subchronic).

·         Diagnose and interpret neoplastic and non-neoplastic lesions (following INHAND terminology).

·         Integrate histopathology findings with clinical pathology, organ weights, and in-life observations.

·         Serve as Study Pathologist for nonGLP toxicology studies.

·         Author and review pathology reports, NOAEL/LOAEL assessments, and risk summaries.

·         Mentor junior pathologists and toxicologists.

Qualifications:

Required:

• MVSc or PhD in veterinary Pathology.
• 7-12 years of experience in pharma/CRO toxicology studies.
• Expertise in rodent/non-rodent pathology using H&E, special stains, and IHC.
• Strong knowledge of GLP, OECD, and ICH S1-S11 guidelines.

Preferred:

• Experience with biologics, oncology, or genetic toxicology.
• Proficiency in digital pathology.
