ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a Scouting Intern who enjoys meeting new people, starting conversations, and building relationships from scratch. This role involves active outreach to founders and investors across online and offline channels.
This is not a desk role. This is a people facing, relationship driven role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Founder Scouting
Reach out to early stage founders through universities, online platforms, startup events, referrals, and personal networks
Identify promising founders and understand their background, startup, and intent
Qualify founders before onboarding them into the VentureLync ecosystem
Investor and Ecosystem Scouting
Reach out to angel investors, micro VCs, family offices, accelerators, and ecosystem partners
Build and maintain relationships with investors and ecosystem stakeholders
Assist in mapping and expanding the investor network
General Responsibilities
Initiate and manage conversations via LinkedIn, email, WhatsApp, and in person when applicable
Maintain structured notes and context from conversations
Work closely with the core team to improve outreach messaging and strategy
WHO SHOULD APPLY
Strong interest in startups, founders, and early stage investing
Comfortable talking to new people and initiating conversations
Prior experience in outreach, community building, sales, partnerships, clubs, or societies is a strong plus
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle rejection and follow up professionally
High ownership mindset with a strong can do attitude
