Job Description
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, a quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in technical support service delivery or vendor management.
- 6 years of experience in leading technical support teams, operations, strategy, and change management.
- Ability to work non-standard hours and differing work rotations/shifts.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in engaging with senior vendor account leaders, multi-vendor operations management for scaled operations, and vendor relationship management.
- Experience working in an operational or sourcing capacity within software engineering services.
- Understanding of service contracts, statements of work for outsourced operations.
- Knowledge of Google Cloud or other Cloud platforms.
- Ability to influence and engage with cross functional teams.
- Ability to communicate cross-functionally to multiple teams across all levels.

The Google Cloud Vendor Management Organization (VMO) has responsibility for extended workforce needs across Google Cloud, including vendor partner selection, governance and operations, and delivery management. In this role, you will focus on partnering deeply with the business teams you support to achieve proactive issue resolution and value creation to help set up Cloud for sustainable growth.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate on the development and execution of the vendor strategy, sourcing, vendor selection, agreement and contracting for Cloud Engineering vendor requirements. This includes software dev, testing, UX etc.
- Develop scalable cost optimal operating models and service capabilities.
- Manage the overall relationship with the Engineering teams and collaborate with cross functional teams across Google to drive results.
- Identify, prioritize, and deliver scalable solutions and run operational initiatives across the globe to scale and transform services while measuring the business impact of those solutions in order to provide insights to senior leadership and inform further innovation.
- Monitor operational and compliance risk for vendor operations.
