Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Vendor Manager to manage and optimise relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and strategic partners. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in vendor negotiations, contract management, performance monitoring, and cost optimisation within an IT services environment .
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end vendor lifecycle, including onboarding, contract negotiation, renewal, and exit
- Build and maintain strong relationships with IT service vendors, software providers, and third-party partners
- Negotiate pricing, SLAs, MSAs, and SOWs to ensure cost efficiency and service quality
- Monitor vendor performance against SLAs, KPIs, and compliance standards
- Identify and mitigate vendor-related risks, including operational, financial, and compliance risks
- Collaborate with internal teams (IT, Procurement, Finance, Legal, and Operations) to align vendor services with business needs
- Drive vendor governance meetings, reviews, and escalation management
- Ensure adherence to company policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements
- Track and manage vendor budgets, invoices, and cost optimisation initiatives
- Evaluate and recommend new vendors or technologies to support business growth
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, IT, Supply Chain, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or sourcing within an IT services or technology-driven organisation
- Strong understanding of IT services, software licensing, cloud services, and managed services
- Proven experience in contract negotiation and vendor performance management
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple vendors and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with vendor management tools, ERP systems, or procurement platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with global or offshore vendors
- Knowledge of ITIL, ISO, SOC, or other IT governance frameworks
- PMP, ITIL, or procurement-related certifications are a plus
