Vendor Manager

Position : Vendor Manager - Interior Fitout Industry

Location : Dahisar East.

Experience Required : 5 to 10 years in Vendor Management

Key Responsibilities : The person in this position finds qualified distributors to meet your companys needs and negotiates contracts for services and/or supplies. They are also responsible for quality control and timely delivery of resources.

1. Planning and overseeing the work of Buyers and Purchasing Agents
2. Hiring and training new staff
3. Developing an organizations procurement rules and regulations
4. Establishing guidelines on how often the company gets price quotes for items, the number of bids to accept and which vendors to consider
5. Buying goods and services for the company
6. Discussing contracts
7. Evaluating quality, price, reliability, technical support and availability of goods and services

Qualifications : A Graduate or Equivalent degree.

Desired Skills :

1. Good exposure of evaluating suppliers and negotiating contracts to achieve the lowest price for high-quality goods.
2. Confidence and ability to build effective working relationships and work collaboratively within and across teams.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google suites,
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
5. Analytical and problem-solving skills,
6. Strong leadership skills.
