Validation Specialist

Virya Electric Powertrains, part of the Maini Group, is looking for a seasoned Head Validation & Homologation to lead vehicle and component validation, testing, and regulatory compliance for conventional and electric vehicle programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and drive end-to-end vehicle & component validation strategy (mechanical, electrical, powertrain).
• Lead DVP&R planning, execution, issue resolution, and validation sign-offs.
• Head all homologation and type approval activities ensuring compliance with CMVR, AIS, BIS, UNECE standards.
• Liaise with certification agencies such as ARAI, ICAT, CIRT, VRDE, etc.
• Oversee CoP, re-certifications, and regulatory change management.
• Collaborate with Design, Manufacturing, Quality, and Customer teams from concept to SOP.
• Build strong processes, governance, KPIs, and mentor validation teams.

What Were Looking For:

• 1220 years of experience in vehicle/component validation & homologation.
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership role within Automotive / EV domain.
• Strong exposure to EV regulations (AIS-038 Rev.2, AIS-156, AIS-048, AIS-039, etc.).
• Excellent technical, regulatory, and stakeholder management skills.
• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Automobile Engineering (Masters preferred).
