OLX India is a leading classifieds platform, boasting over 100+ million app downloads across diverse categories, including cars, bikes, real estate, and electronics.
Consumers and dealers come to OLX India, Indias largest online classifieds platform, to buy and sell used and new products. OLX India operates in over 10 categories across India. These main categories include Auto, Real estate, Mobiles/Electronics, Furniture, etc. Sellers can list multiple products and upload their advertisements, including pictures, titles, descriptions, and expected sales prices. careers.olx.in
We are looking for a UX Researcher II to empower millions of users across India and global markets by deeply understanding their needs, behaviors, and motivations, and translating those insights into meaningful product decisions.
What Youll be Doing ?
Plan, design and conduct user research studies using both qualitative and quantitative methods (e.g., user interviews, surveys, usability testing, contextual inquiries, field studies).
Collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, data analysts, and engineers to define research questions and integrate research into the product development lifecycle.
Own end-to-end research projects including recruitment, study execution, analysis, synthesis, and delivery of findings.
Translate research insights into clear, actionable recommendations that inform product strategy, design decisions, and business goals.
Present research findings and storytelling to cross-functional stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Conduct usability evaluations and iterative testing to validate design concepts and product improvements.
Mentor and support junior researchers or interns when required and contribute to strengthening OLXs overall research practice.
Advocate for user needs and insights across teams, ensuring user-centered thinking in product decision making.
Who We are looking for :
Bachelors or Masters degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Design, Anthropology, Behavioral Science, or a related field.
4-6 years of professional UX research experience, preferably in a product-centric or digital marketplace environment.
Deep expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and when to apply them.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data from multiple sources and generate compelling insights.
Candidates with experience working in marketplace companies will be preferred.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, and ambiguous environment.
Experience with data analysis tools and dashboards is a plus.
