Role Description

·       Develop and modernize enterprise-grade UI applications using Angular as part of a large-scale UI modernization initiative.

·       Work closely with UX designers, backend teams, and product owners to deliver responsive, scalable, and high-performance user interfaces.

·       Consume and integrate APIs using GraphQL and REST, and implement real-time UI updates through push notification mechanisms.

·       Leverage AI-powered code assistance tools for code generation, design quality, and unit test coverage.

·       Ensure code quality through unit testing, peer reviews, and adherence to UI and security best practices.

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate functional and non-functional requirements into robust UI solutions.

Skills & Proficiency Levels

·       Skill Things to Check During Interview Proficiency (SFIA Level)

·       Angular Development Strong Angular (v12+ preferred), components, modules, services, routing, forms, RxJS, state management; performance optimization Level 4

·       UI Modernization Experience migrating legacy UIs to modern Angular-based architecture; modularization and reusability Level 4

·       GraphQL Query/mutation design, schema understanding, error handling, pagination, caching strategies (Apollo or similar) Level 3–4

·       REST API Integration API consumption, authentication, error handling, versioning, API performance considerations Level 4

·       Real-Time Push Notifications WebSockets, Server-Sent Events (SSE), or Firebase/SignalR-style integrations Level 3–4

·       HTML / CSS / UI Engineering HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, accessibility (WCAG), cross-browser compatibility Level 4

·       Unit Testing Jasmine, Karma, Jest; component and service-level testing; test coverage and mocking Level 4

·       AI Code Assist Tools Hands-on use of AI tools for code generation, refactoring, design suggestions, and unit test creation Level 3–4

·       Build & Tooling npm, Angular CLI, linting, build optimization, CI-friendly frontend builds Level 3–4

·       Learning Mindset Willingness to adopt new Angular features, UI patterns, and AI-assisted development approaches Level 4
