Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-driven UX Designer with at least 3 years of professional experience. This role requires someone comfortable managing multiple design projects while contributing to and maintaining a robust design library that supports consistency across our product suite.

Key Responsibilities

• Work on UX design initiatives across multiple products/initiatives by Shipway, from research, and ideation to design and testing.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UI Engineers, and other stakeholders to define user problems, requirements, and product goals.
• Create wireframes, high fidelity mocks and interactive prototypes, followed by review and iteration cycle.
• Maintain, and evolve a scalable design system and component library to ensure UI consistency across products.
• Provide clear design documentation and specifications for handoff to developers.
• Champion best practices in UX and UI design, advocating for user needs throughout the product lifecycle.
• Contribute to design critiques, product planning, and cross-functional collaboration rituals.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience as a UX Designer, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment
• Bachelors/ Masters degree in UX Design, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of UX and design principles, user research, heuristic evaluation, and usability testing.
• Proficient in using Figma for end-to-end UX design, including wireframing, prototyping, and maintaining a collaborative design system.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a user-centred design process, UX problem-solving, and product impact.
• Solid grasp of interaction design, responsive design, accessibility, and information architecture.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have

• Experience designing for complex workflows or enterprise-grade SaaS platforms.
• Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript).
