The opportunity
The Product Management Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the Support Experience and product management team by providing data-driven insights and analysis that inform product strategy and development.
This individual will collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to understand market trends, customer needs, and product performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, experience with product lifecycle management, and the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable recommendations.
Your key responsibilities
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities for product innovation.
- Analyze customer feedback, usage data, and sales metrics to inform product decisions and prioritize features.
- Support the product roadmap planning process with data analysis and projections.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand the impact of product changes.
- Develop and maintain product performance reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
- Assist in the creation of business cases for new product initiatives, including financial modeling and risk assessment.
- Facilitate communication between the product management team and other departments, ensuring alignment on product goals and strategies.
- Participate in user testing and validation efforts to gather insights and refine product offerings.
Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role you must have
- Experience in an analytical role, preferably within product management or a related field.
- Strong quantitative skills and proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, analytics platforms).
- Familiarity with product development processes and agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Strong understanding of the Critical Success Factors (CSF) and KPIs aligned to product vendor SLA & SM process’s to effectively analyze the process, review related procedures and standards in input/output of data.
- Strong analytical abilities to effectively compare data elements against these control metrics using standards such as ITIL and other guidelines as part of Vendor Management
- Ability to handle multiple and shifting assigned priorities to provide research results and solutions that are timely, supportive and accurate.
- Solid interpersonal skills to engage in cross business/team discussions within a matrixed, geographically dispersed organization and to formulate, as required, credible ideas or insightfully challenge proposed options
- Well defined communication skills , both oral and written in the English language, to summarize key issues and findings, to formulate supportive ideas and materials as well as present findings and ideas clearly and concisely to a variety of levels of the organization
- Good knowledge of the product Management and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes with an eye to progressive levels of certification as required. Has the ability to leverage standard ITIL process directives in reviewing current tools and procedures and improving and supporting the process execution.
- Basic to Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products, predominantly Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.
- Experience in ServiceNow , Qaultrics, Genesys or any equivalent service desk or IT support tools preferred.
