Job Description
We're looking for a motivated Team Lead to manage our India operations on a day-to-day basis. This is a working lead role, you'll drive business development efforts, oversee delivery, and coordinate with US clients while guiding the recruiting and bench sales team.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify and reach out to new vendors, direct clients, MSPs, and implementation partners
- Build and maintain relationships to generate new job orders and business opportunities
- Follow up on leads, negotiate rates, and close vendor agreements
- Develop strategies to expand our client base and increase revenue
Delivery Management
- Screen candidates submitted by the recruiting team for quality and fit
- Review and approve submissions before they go to clients
- Manage bench consultant marketing and placement efforts
- Ensure timelines and submission quality standards are met
Team Coordination
- Assign requirements to recruiters and track daily progress
- Monitor team performance against targets
- Help train and support junior team members
- Report updates and metrics to US leadership
Client Management
- Act as primary point of contact for client and vendor communication
- Handle status updates, interview coordination, and basic negotiations
- Build long-term relationships with key accounts
- Escalate issues to US leadership as needed
Requirements
- 35 years of experience in US IT staffing industry
- Proven experience in business development, vendor management, or client acquisition
- Understanding of US work authorizations (H1B, TN, GC, USC)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience working US hours
- Ability to work independently and manage a small team
Good to Have
- Existing vendor or client relationships in the US market
- Experience with VMS platforms
- Background in bench sales or account management
