US Accounts executive

We're Hiring a Skilled US Accountant!

Job Description:

Are you a detail-oriented accountant with a strong grasp of US accounting principles and a knack for client communication? Our growing firm is looking for a dedicated professional to join our team.

In this role, you'll be the backbone of our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across a wide range of functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Timesheet Management: Proactively follow up with team members and clients to ensure all timesheets are submitted, approved, and processed accurately and on time.
• Accounts Receivable & Collections: Manage the full-cycle A/R process, including generating invoices and professionally and effectively following up on outstanding payments to maintain healthy cash flow.
• Payroll Processing: Accurately process semi-monthly or bi-weekly payroll for employees, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Month-End Close: Assist with journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting to support a smooth month-end close process.
• General Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking.

What We're Looking For:

• 3+ years of experience in a US accounting role.
• Proven experience with timesheet administration, payment collections, and payroll processing (experience with Gusto, ADP, QuickBooks Online, or similar platforms is a plus!).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the tact and persistence needed for effective collections.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
