About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable US Accounting Executive with hands-on experience in US accounting processes and accounting software tools. The ideal candidate will have strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online (mandatory) along with exposure to QuickBooks Desktop and Xero , and the ability to manage month-end activities while supporting client communication professionally.

This role requires a solid understanding of transactional accounting, accuracy in financial reporting, and confidence in handling client queries via email and calls.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day US accounting activities including bookkeeping and reconciliations
• Manage bank feeds categorization and ensure accurate posting of transactions
• Prepare and support month-end financials including P&L, Balance Sheet, and supporting schedules
• Handle client queries professionally through email and calls, ensuring timely resolution
• Maintain accurate accounting records in compliance with US accounting standards
• Work closely with internal teams to meet reporting timelines and quality benchmarks
• Assist in identifying discrepancies and resolving accounting issues
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 23 years of hands-on experience in US Accounting / Bookkeeping
• QuickBooks Online Mandatory
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop and Xero (Plus)
• Strong understanding of bank feeds categorization and reconciliation
• Experience preparing month-end financial statements
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients via email and calls
• Good analytical skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with US-based clients
• Understanding of GAAP fundamentals
• Exposure to payroll, AP/AR, or sales tax filings (added advantage)
