About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable US Accounting Executive with hands-on experience in US accounting processes and accounting software tools. The ideal candidate will have strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online (mandatory) along with exposure to QuickBooks Desktop and Xero, and the ability to manage month-end activities while supporting client communication professionally.

This role requires a solid understanding of transactional accounting, accuracy in financial reporting, and confidence in handling client queries via email and calls.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day US accounting activities including bookkeeping and reconciliations
• Manage bank feeds categorization and ensure accurate posting of transactions
• Prepare and support month-end financials including P&L, Balance Sheet, and supporting schedules
• Handle client queries professionally through email and calls, ensuring timely resolution
• Maintain accurate accounting records in compliance with US accounting standards
• Work closely with internal teams to meet reporting timelines and quality benchmarks
• Assist in identifying discrepancies and resolving accounting issues
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 23 years of hands-on experience in US Accounting / Bookkeeping
• QuickBooks Online Mandatory
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop and Xero (Plus)
• Strong understanding of bank feeds categorization and reconciliation
• Experience preparing month-end financial statements
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients via email and calls
• Good analytical skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with US-based clients
• Understanding of GAAP fundamentals
• Exposure to payroll, AP/AR, or sales tax filings (added advantage)
