Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Power BI Developer with strong expertise in semantic modeling, DAX optimization, and scalable dashboard development.

Youll collaborate closely with Data Engineers, stakeholders, and business teams to build secure, high-performance, and reliable reporting solutions aligned with business KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop robust semantic models using Power BI best practices

Build advanced, interactive dashboards & enterprise-level reports

Implement complex DAX calculations, KPIs & performance metrics

Optimize data models for performance & refresh efficiency

Configure and manage Row-Level Security (RLS)

Ensure data consistency, usability & governance

Manage deployment, versioning & lifecycle of Power BI artifacts

Troubleshoot performance & data model issues

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in Power BI Desktop & Power BI Service
• Advanced DAX & Power Query (M Language) proficiency
• Strong Data Modelling skills (Star & Snowflake Schema)
• Performance tuning & model optimization experience
• RLS implementation & security best practices
• Strong SQL & relational database knowledge
• Understanding of Data Warehousing concepts
• Experience with deployment pipelines & workspace management

Good to Have

• Experience with Azure Data Services (ADF, Synapse, SQL)
• Exposure to enterprise reporting environments
• CI/CD knowledge for BI deployments

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science / IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
