Deccan PU College is hiring an experienced and motivatedEconomics & Business Studies Facultywith35 years of teaching experienceto deliver effective classroom instruction, strengthen students conceptual understanding, and support academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• TeachEconomics and Business Studiesfor PU students as per the prescribed syllabus and academic calendar
• Deliver concept-based teaching with practical examples and case studies
• Train students in topics such as:
• Micro & Macro Economics(as per syllabus)
• Demand & Supply, National Income, Money & Banking, Public Finance
• Business Management Principles, Marketing, Finance, HR, Entrepreneurship
• Conduct regular tests, assignments, and revision sessions
• Prepare students forinternal assessments and board examinations
• Maintain student attendance, academic records, and performance reports
• Provide mentoring and academic support to students when required
• Participate in department meetings, academic planning, and college events
• Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors/Masters Degree in Economics / Commerce / Business Administration

(MA Economics / M.Com / MBA preferred)

• B.Edis an added advantage
• 35 years of teaching experienceat PU/College level
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to engage students and improve academic results
