Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a UPS Service Engineer based in Chennai. The UPS Service Engineer will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues, conducting routine maintenance, repairing UPS systems, and providing field service support. Day-to-day tasks include visiting customer sites for troubleshooting and system maintenance, ensuring timely and effective support, and assisting in the installation and commissioning of UPS systems.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues effectively
• Experience in performing field service, including installation, technical support, and diagnostics on-site
• Ability to conduct maintenance and repair of UPS systems and related equipment
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with clients and teams effectively
• Ability to work independently and willingness to travel as required for on-site service
• Proficiency in using relevant tools and equipment for service and repair
• Diploma or degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
• Prior experience in UPS servicing and technical support roles is advantageous
