Role: Recruiter - Global Talent Acquisition Group UK

Location: Chennai (Thoraipakkam)

Work Model: Hybrid 3 days work from office

Shift: 9 hours between 12 PM to 11 PM

Job Type: Contract (Third Party Payroll)

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and role requirements.
• Source and screen candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, and internal database.
• Schedule interviews and assess candidates to ensure a strong cultural and skill fit.
• Manage end-the-end recruitment process; including job postings, resume screening, interview coordination, offer negotiation.
• Develop and maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs.
• Stay updated on market trends and best practices in recruitment.
• Promote TCS as an employer of choice by engaging in employer branding activities.
• Facilitate a positive candidate experience through timely communication and feedback.
• Continuously evaluate recruitment processes and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Provide industry-best candidate experience.
• Demonstrate empathy, active listening, and professionalism in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Be open to support recruitment efforts for other geographies as required.

Key Skills/Experience Required:

• Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably in the UK market.
• Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations in the UK.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work in UK shift.
• Flexible and responsive to evolving business ness and changing priorities.
