UK Accounts Officer

Job Title: Accountant / Bookkeeper

Location: Ahmedabad (Onsite)

Shift Timing: 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST

Working Days: 5.5 days per week

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant / Bookkeeper to join our growing finance team. This is a great opportunity to work with UK, US, and Australian clients, gain international accounting exposure, and enhance your career in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping and general ledger records.
• Perform bank reconciliations, debtor reconciliations, and vendor reconciliations with precision.
• Manage month-end closing activities, including accruals, prepayments, and deferred income.
• Handle Accounts Payable process and verify invoices, match expenses with agreements, track supplier refunds, and follow up on pending invoices.
• Manage Accounts Receivable record customer payments, maintain receipts and refund records.
• Review and validate all accounting entries and reports before submission or finalization.
• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and continuous process improvement within accounting workflows.
• Gain hands-on experience in VAT and international accounting standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 4+ years of professional accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of Xero accounting software (preferred).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and process orientation.
