Job Description:

We are seeking a highly enthusiastic and driven UI/UX Expert for AI Applications who is passionate about designing intuitive, trustworthy, and human-centered experiences for complex, data-driven, and AI-powered systems. In this role, you will own the end-to-end user experience for intelligent applicationsfrom research and concept design to interaction models and visual execution. You will work closely with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, and product leaders to translate advanced AI capabilities into clear, usable, and impactful user experiences.

This role is ideal for a designer who enjoys solving hard UX problemssuch as explainability, model confidence, data visualization, and humanAI interactionwhile working in a fast-paced AI startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

UI/UX & Product Design

• Lead end-to-end UI/UX design for AI-powered web and cloud-native applications.
• Translate complex AI/ML outputs (predictions, recommendations, insights) into simple, intuitive, and actionable user experiences.
• Design user journeys, information architecture, wireframes, interaction flows, and high-fidelity visual designs.
• Define and maintain design systems, UI standards, and UX guidelines for consistency and scalability.
• Design dashboards, analytics views, and data visualizations for AI-driven insights.

HumanAI Interaction & Explainability

• Design UX patterns for AI explainability, confidence, traceability, and user trust.
• Collaborate with AI/ML teams to ensure models are presented in ways users can understand and act upon.
• Incorporate feedback loops, user controls, and transparency mechanisms into AI workflows.

Collaboration & Delivery

• Work closely with AI/ML engineers, backend/frontend developers, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless design-to-implementation handoff.

Contribute to DevOps practices, including setting up CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and assisting with application deployment and monitoring.

• Participate in agile ceremonies, design reviews, and product discussions.
• Support usability testing, user research, and iterative design improvements based on real-world feedback.

Innovation & Learning

• Stay current with emerging trends in AI UX, GenAI interfaces, conversational UI, and agent-based systems.
• Actively experiment with new tools, interaction paradigms, and design approaches for intelligent systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors or masters degree in design, HCI, Engineering, Computer Applications, or related fields.

3+ years of hands-on experience in UI/UX design for complex digital products

Strong expertise in frontend technologies HTML/CSS/JS, React, FastAPI, UX research, interaction design, visual design, and usability principles.

Proven experience designing enterprise, data-heavy, or AI-driven applications.

Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.

Solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and design systems.

Experience working closely with AI/ML, data science, or analytics teams.

Familiarity with AI/ML concepts (models, pipelines, predictions, confidence scores) from a UX perspective.

Experience is back-end technologies will be an advantage. And experience in designing GenAI, conversational UI, agent-based systems, or RAG-driven applications is preferred.

Exposure to usability testing, A/B testing, or UX metrics will be an advantage

Experience using Copilot or other LLM-based tools to enhance design, research, or problem-solving workflows

Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain design decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

High ownership mindset, curiosity, and eagerness to learn in a startup environment.
