UI UX Engineer

Job Overview:

As a UI/UX Engineer at Sundew, you will bridge the gap between design and development by crafting seamless, scalable, and high-performing digital experiences. You will combine strong design thinking with front-end technical expertise to transform user needs and product requirements into intuitive, responsive, and production ready interfaces.

You will play a key role in shaping product usability, performance, and interaction quality ensuring our solutions are visually engaging, technically sound, and user-centric.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand product requirements, user behavior, and business objectives to define experience strategy
• Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes
• Convert approved designs into responsive, pixel-perfect front-end implementations
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, and Stakeholders to align UX vision with technical feasibility
• Develop and maintain scalable UI components and design systems
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsiveness, and accessibility standards
• Conduct usability testing and incorporate feedback into iterative improvements
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, performance, and scalability
• Make strategic UX decisions for both core features and new enhancements
• Apply user-centered design principles and continuously test and iterate
• Stay updated on UI/UX trends, interaction patterns, and front-end technologies
• Maintain design consistency across products and platforms

Required Skills & Experience:

• 78 years of experience in UI/UX design and front-end development
• Strong proficiency in Figma (components, auto-layout, design systems)
• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop / Adobe XD
• Hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
• Experience with modern frameworks (React / Vue / Angular preferred)
• Understanding of responsive design, mobile-first design, and accessibility standards
• Experience implementing animations and interactive elements (GSAP or similar is a plus)
• Strong understanding of UX principles, usability, and interaction design
• Ability to communicate design systems and implementation logic clearly to teams
• Experience collaborating in Agile/Scrum environments
• Passion for solving user pain points through both design and technical execution
