Role Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced UX Designer with strong user-centered design thinking, who can work independently, take full ownership of design problems, and deliver high-quality, production-ready UX in a fast-moving environment.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable advocating for users, challenging requirements constructively, and collaborating closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Stakeholderswhile operating with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design decisions grounded in user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
• Translate ambiguous requirements into clear user problems and UX solutions.
• Confidently advocate for user needs and push back constructively when requirements compromise usability or experience.
• Balance user experience with business goals and technical constraints.
• Drive the end-to-end UX process independentlyfrom discovery to final design.
• Explore multiple design approaches and alternatives before converging on solutions.
• Handle loosely defined problems and bring clarity, structure, and direction without heavy guidance.
• Make informed design decisions and clearly articulate trade-offs.
• Deliver pixel-perfect, production-ready designs with strong attention to detail.
• Ensure consistency across screens, flows, and interactions using design systems or component libraries.
• Produce clear UX artifacts such as user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interaction specs.
• Take complete ownership of assigned design initiatives and features.
• Manage tasks end-to-endfrom understanding requirements to final handoff.
• Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and gaps in scope.
• Deliver work on time with minimal oversight.
• Communicate design progress, decisions, risks, and open questions clearly and proactively.
• Collaborate effectively with Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders.
• Present design concepts and rationale confidently to cross-functional teams.
• Incorporate feedback thoughtfully while maintaining UX quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in UX Design
• Strong portfolio demonstrating:
• Complex problem-solving
• End-to-end UX ownership
• High-quality visual and interaction design
• Deep understanding of:
• User-centered design principles
• Information architecture & interaction design
• Usability and accessibility best practices
• Proficiency with modern design tools (e.g., Figma or equivalent)
• Experience working closely with engineering teams for design handoff
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise products
• Familiarity with design systems at scale
• Exposure to agile / fast-iteration product teams
• Strong individual contributor (not people-manager focused)
• Can work independently with minimal guidance
• Comfortable pushing back and defending UX decisions
• Delivers high-quality, detailed designs
• Ready for contract-based, fast-paced work
