UI / UX Designer

Harvee Technologies is looking for a UI / UX Designer who can transform real-world business problems into simple, intuitive, and effective digital experiences.

This role goes beyond visual design. The core objective is to understand customer problems, think through solutions, and design user interfaces that clearly communicate those solutions to end users. You will work closely with product owners, customers, and software engineers to ensure that the designed experience is practical, scalable, and easy to implement.

The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills, excellent command over English, and the ability to clearly document and explain design decisions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Problem Understanding & UX Strategy

• Interact with internal stakeholders and customers to deeply understand business problems and user pain points.
• Convert vague or complex requirements into clear UX flows and software solutions.
• Think from an end-user perspective and design experiences that are simple, logical, and easy to understand.
• Ask the right questions to uncover usability issues before development begins.

2. UI & UX Design for New Projects

• Design end-to-end UI and UX for new technology products and applications.
• Create:
• User journeys
• Wireframes
• High-fidelity UI screens
• Interaction flows
• Ensure designs are consistent, scalable, and aligned with usability best practices.

3. Enhancements for Existing Products

• Analyze existing applications to identify usability gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Redesign screens or flows to improve user experience, clarity, and efficiency.
• Work closely with developers to ensure enhancements are implemented correctly.

4. Screen Design & Developer Handoff

• Create clear, detailed application screens that act as a functional requirement document for software engineers.
• Ensure every screen clearly explains:
• Purpose of the screen
• User actions
• Expected behavior
• Edge cases
• Provide design assets and explanations that enable developers to build exactly what is designed, with minimal ambiguity.

5. Collaboration & Communication

• Collaborate closely with:
• Product managers
• Software engineers
• Business teams
• Clearly articulate design rationale and usability decisions in fluent English (spoken and written).
• Participate in discussions to balance user experience, technical feasibility, and business needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience

• 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in UI / UX design for web or mobile applications.
• Experience working on real products, not just conceptual designs.

Design & UX Skills

• Strong understanding of:
• UX principles
• User-centered design
• Information architecture
• Usability best practices
• Ability to design clean, intuitive, and purposeful interfaces.
• Strong attention to detail in layouts, spacing, typography, and consistency.

Problem-Solving Mindset

• Ability to analyze problems logically and propose practical UI/UX solutions.
• Think beyond aesthetics focus on how the user understands and uses the product.
• Comfortable working with incomplete requirements and shaping them into clear designs.

Communication Skills

• Excellent command over English (mandatory).
• Ability to document screens, flows, and design logic in a structured and professional manner.
• Confident in explaining ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Tools

• Proficiency in UI/UX design tools such as:
• Figma
• Adobe XD
• Sketch (or equivalent tools)
• Basic understanding of how designs translate into front-end development (HTML/CSS/JS awareness is a plus).

Good to Have (Preferred)

• Experience working closely with development teams in an agile environment.
• Exposure to SaaS, enterprise software, or custom application development.
• Understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles.
• Ability to create simple UX documentation or design guidelines.
