Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Trust Administrator to manage and oversee the statutory, legal, compliance, and administrative functions of the Trust and Foundation, including hospital-related charity compliance. The candidate must have strong knowledge of Charity Trust laws, hospital regulatory norms, and IT/company compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Trust & Legal Compliance

• Ensure compliance with the Bombay Public Trust Act / applicable Charity Trust Act & Rules
• Liaison with Charity Commissioner Office and related authorities
• Maintain statutory registers, records, resolutions, and documentation
• Filing of returns, change reports, and other statutory submissions

2. Hospital & Patient Charity Compliance

• Ensure compliance with charity norms applicable to hospitals
• Monitor implementation of charity quota / concessional treatment norms for patients
• Maintain records of free/concessional treatments as per regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with hospital management and auditors for compliance audits

3. IT & Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure adherence to Income Tax provisions applicable to trusts (12A, 80G, etc.)
• Coordinate with CA for audits, returns, and financial compliance
• Maintain documentation as per company and governance standards

4. Administration & Governance

• Organize Trustee meetings and maintain minutes
• Draft official correspondence and legal documentation
• Support policy drafting and internal governance frameworks
• Coordinate with legal advisors, consultants, and government departments.

Requirement

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Law, Commerce, or related field
• Minimum 58 years of experience in Trust Administration / Hospital Compliance
• Strong knowledge of:
• Charity Trust Act & Rules
• Hospital charity compliance regulations
• Income Tax laws applicable to charitable institutions
• Basic corporate governance norms
