Treasury Associate

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Treasury Associate to support our finance operations. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end cash management, banking operations, and ensuring strict compliance with FEMA and regulatory norms. You will play a critical role in managing domestic and foreign payments, trade finance, and liquidity management.

Key Responsibilities

• Payment Processing: specific responsibility for ensuring timely domestic and foreign vendor payments, as well as all statutory payments.
• Reconciliation & Reporting: Assist in the reconciliation of bank statements and the preparation of Treasury Management Information System (MIS) reports for leadership.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to internal controls, treasury policies, and regulatory norms. This includes managing FEMA compliances, specifically IDPMS (Import Data Processing and Monitoring System) and EDPMS (Export Data Processing and Monitoring System).
• Audit Support: Act as a key point of contact for audit requirements related to treasury activities, ensuring all documentation is accurate and available.
• Investment Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of company investments.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience: 24 years of experience in treasury or finance operations.

Technical Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of cash management and banking products.
• In-depth knowledge of trade processing, mutual funds, money markets, and FX.
• Mandatory: Knowledge of FEMA compliances, including IDPMS and EDPMS workflows.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with financial reporting tools/ERPs.
