Job Description
Job Summary
This is a role for someone who has a passion for being an organizer and a cheerleader to everyone traveling from the company or coming to our country.This role is dynamic in nature and requires a fast-paced attitude to stay on top of duties. As a travel desk manager, you will be required to maintain strict confidentiality about travel plans within and outside the organization.
Responsibilities
Travel Coordination
- Manage end to end Domestic and International travel arrangements including flights, hotels, transportation and itinerary planning according to company policy.
- Ensure timely delivery of travel documents and approvals.
- Handle visa applications and formalities promptly.
- Manage emergency changes/cancellations in a professional, calm manner and keep the traveller updated.
- You will regularly be in touch with finance and HR/Admin to manage all documentation and formalities pre and post-travel.
Vendor and Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with Airlines, Hotels,Travel agencies and car rental partners.
- Negotiate corporate rates and contracts to optimize travel costs.
Travel Policy and Compliance
- Implement, review and update company travel policy.
- Ensure employees who are travelling adheres to guidelines for safe travel.
- Maintain travel MIS, dashboards and reporting
Financial Management
- Maintain the travel budget and identify cost saving opportunities.
- Review and verify travel expenses claim as per travel policy.
Crisis & Risk Management:
- Support employees in case of any travel disruptions, emergencies and itinerary changes.
