Summary: As a Translator, you will provide technical translation services for technology programs and projects. You will play a crucial role in ensuring effective communication and understanding between different language-speaking teams and stakeholders. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Translate technical documents, manuals, and other materials from English to Spanish and vice versa. - Ensure accurate and high-quality translations, maintaining the technical terminology and context. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver translations within specified timelines. - Review and proofread translated materials to ensure accuracy and adherence to language and industry standards. - Provide linguistic support during meetings, conferences, and presentations as required. - Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in translation tools and technologies. - Assist in developing and maintaining translation glossaries and style guides. - Train and mentor junior translators to improve their language and technical translation skills. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Spanish. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with translation software and tools. - Strong understanding of linguistic and cultural nuances in both English and Spanish. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. - Attention to detail and strong proofreading skills. - Familiarity with technical terminology and concepts in the IT industry. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Spanish translation. - This position is based at our Gurugram office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
