As a Transaction Processing Associate in Market Operations, you'll be responsible for regulatory reporting implementation and ongoing remediation activities, while covering various products. Lead the implementation and management of regulatory reporting processes, ensuring compliance and efficiency through collaboration with stakeholders and continuous process improvement. Drive strategic enhancements and maintain robust control environments across FX, Rates, and Commodities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage regulatory reporting processes, including ongoing remediation efforts.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and industry groups (such as ISDA, Equities industry groups, DTCC) as well as internal stakeholders to understand regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and maintain end-to-end control processes for regulatory reporting.
  • Review and enhance control processes related to the Regulatory Reporting agenda in FX, Rates, and Commodities.
  • Develop a strategic attestation process for regulatory reporting in jurisdictions where it has been implemented.
  • Recommend process and system enhancements to improve efficiency and compliance.
  • Collaborate with business and Technology teams to prioritize requirements by presenting well-supported business cases.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses to propose optimal future processes to the business.
  • Deliver a controlled environment for Regulatory Reporting successfully.
  • Ensure all controls and checks are completed by the end of each day.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Strong understanding of Credit / Rates / Equity Derivatives products. Strong understanding of Dodd Frank CFTC Trade Reporting and EMIR Trade Reporting
  • Excellent business analysis skills to drill down the complex regulatory reporting requirements for multiple jurisdictions. Excellent problem solving skills in order to identify, understand, and address operational and technical issues
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to develop relationships across the various stakeholders including Senior Business executives
  • Self-motivated and ability to deliver with minimal supervision
  • Understanding of the end-to-end transaction cycle for derivative products
  • Ability to work in a high pressure environment with time-critical deliveries
  • Control mindset to identify process control gaps, prioritize, and mitigate operational risk
  • Effective stakeholder management
  • Experience with investment banking environment is a must, preferably in Middle Office / Trade Support
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree, Finance / Economics or other related disciplines is preferred
