Trainer - Tally

Job Locations: Ahmedabad, Surat, Rajkot

Job Purpose

The purpose of the Tally Trainer role is to deliver practical and theoretical training in accounting and Tally software to students, enabling them to develop industry-relevant skills for employment. The trainer will ensure effective learning through structured sessions, hands-on practice, and continuous student support while also assisting in mobilization and guiding learners toward job readiness.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Deliver training on Tally (Tally Prime), basic accounting principles, GST, and financial transactions.
• Conduct practical sessions to help students gain hands-on experience in accounting software.
• Prepare lesson plans, training materials, assignments, and assessments.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to improve their understanding.
• Assist in student mobilization activities in colleges and communities when required.
• Maintain attendance records, training reports, and other documentation related to the program.
• Provide guidance on job readiness, interview preparation, and industry practices related to accounting roles.
• Coordinate with the program team to ensure smooth execution of training sessions.
• Ensure students complete the course and are prepared for placements or further opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field (B.Com preferred).
• Certification or strong working knowledge of Tally (Tally Prime).
• 13 years of experience in teaching Tally, accounting, or working in accounting roles.
• Good understanding of GST, bookkeeping, and basic accounting concepts.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively train students.
• Basic computer skills including MS Excel, Word, and email.
• Willingness to support mobilization and field activities when required.
• Ability to explain concepts in simple and practical ways for students.
