Job description for VIP Services Trainee

 

A Trainee in VIP Services is an entry-level position in VIP Services department. A Trainee is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to high-value players or VIPs. The primary job function of a Trainee in VIP Services is to assist the VIP Services team with administrative tasks, such as managing guest bookings, handling guest inquiries, and ensuring that guests receive the highest level of service possible.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Greeting guests upon arrival and escorting them to their desired location within the property.

·        Assisting with the coordination of VIP events and functions, such as private parties or exclusive gaming events.

·        Providing VIP guests with information on amenities and services.

·        Monitoring VIP guest accounts and providing updates to the VIP Services team on guest activity.

·        Assisting with the processing of VIP guest requests, such as restaurant reservations, transportation arrangements, and hotel accommodations.

·        Maintaining accurate records of VIP guest activity and ensuring that guest preferences are noted in their profiles.

·        Communicating with other departments to ensure that VIP guests receive seamless service.

·        Build and maintain positive relationships with VIP guests, ensuring their loyalty.

·        Maintain strict confidentiality with regards to guest information and company operations.

·        Performing other administrative duties as assigned by the VIP Services team.

  • Attend training sessions to learn new skills and improve existing ones.

Qualifications:

  • Min HSSC pass, diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in hospitality management may be preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving skill.
  • A friendly and professional demeanour.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong guest service skill with knowledge of departmental functions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

 

 

Trainee in VIP Services should possess excellent communication skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. A strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask are also essential. The VIP Service department acts as the point of contact between the VIP guest and the company, helping to build and maintain a positive relationship. Trainee in VIP Services should have a basic understanding of company operations and be familiar with various amenities and services offered by the company.
