About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Front Office Calypso Engineer with mandatory 5+ years of hands-on Calypso experience , focused on Front Office trading functionality . This role supports trader-facing systems and requires deep experience in trade booking, pricing, and Front Office workflows .

This is NOT a junior role and NOT a Back Office role.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and deliver Front Office Calypso functionality for trading desks
• Work directly with traders and Front Office stakeholders
• Implement and support:
• Trade booking & deal capture
• Pricing models, curves, and market data
• Front Office workflows, validations, and controls
• Intraday P&L and trade lifecycle events
• Participate in end-to-end Calypso implementations (FO MO BO)
• Develop and customize Calypso using Java
• Support UAT, go-live, and production issues for Front Office users
• Collaborate with Risk, Middle Office, and Back Office teams.

Mandatory Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

• Minimum 4+ years of hands-on Calypso experience (MANDATORY)
• Strong Front Office Calypso experience (MANDATORY) including:
• Trade booking / deal capture
• Pricing and valuation
• Trader-facing screens and workflows
• Strong understanding of capital markets trade lifecycle
• Solid Java development experience
• Experience supporting Front Office or trading desks
• Asset class experience in one or more:
• FX, Rates, Credit, Equities, Derivatives

Note: Back-office-only Calypso profiles will not be considered.

Good to Have

• Experience with Calypso implementation or upgrade projects
• Exposure to risk, P&L, or market data integration
• Experience in investment banks or capital markets consulting
• Prior UAE or international banking exposure

This role requires senior-level Front Office Calypso expertise .
