Job Title: Trademark Prosecution Associate

Experience Required: Minimum 5 Years (PQE)

Location: Noida

Blue Inkk is seeking an experienced Trademark Prosecution Associate to join its growing Intellectual Property practice. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in handling trademark prosecution matters before the Indian Trade Marks Registry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handling Show Cause Hearing matters and preparing written submissions.
• Drafting and filing Notices of Opposition and Counter Statements.
• Attending opposition/rectification proceedings.
• Preparing and filing Evidence in Support of Opposition / Application.
• Handling assignment, transmission, licensing and recordal matters.
• Managing prosecution timelines and coordinating with clients.
• Advising clients on registrability, objections, and prosecution strategy.
• Regular follow-ups with the Trade Marks Registry.
• Monitoring and managing trademark portfolios for domestic and international clients.
• Coordinating with foreign associates for overseas filings and prosecution.
• Managing Madrid Protocol designations, filings, refusals, and responses.
• Handling priority claims and convention applications
• Drafting cease-and-desist notices & settlement agreements.

Eligibility & Qualifications:

* LL.B. from a recognized university

* Minimum *5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE)* in trademark prosecution

* Strong drafting skills and sound knowledge of the Trade Marks Act, 1999 and Trade Marks Rules

* Practical experience with Trade Marks Registry procedures and hearings

* Ability to work independently and manage multiple matters efficiently

Preferred Skills:

* Prior experience in a law firm or IP boutique

* Client-handling experience

* Additional preference will be given to candidates having experience in international trademark filings, including filings through the Madrid Protocol *

* Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Salary: As per industry standard for experience and expertise
