WHAT WILL YOU DO AT WHOLSUM FOODS?

As Manager Trade Marketing, you will play a critical role in bringing our brands to life in the market. This role sits at the intersection of sales, marketing, and consumer experience, ensuring our products stand out on shelves and connect meaningfully with consumers.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Retail & In-Store Experience

• Conceptualize and execute innovative retail formats such as experience centres, kiosks, shop-in-shops, and activation zones across India.
• Drive best-in-class in-store visibility and merchandising to strengthen brand presence across modern trade and general trade channels.

Consumer & Trade Activations

• Plan and execute consumer promotions, sampling activations, and trade engagement programs to increase trial and conversion.
• Lead local marketing initiatives, including outdoor advertising and store-level campaigns.

Trade Promotions & Schemes

• Design and implement trade schemes and incentive programs for dealers, distributors, and retailers.
• Work closely with the sales team to ensure effective roll-out and market adoption.

Market Intelligence

• Track market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activity across retail channels.
• Translate market learnings into actionable strategies to improve sales and visibility.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with sales, marketing, supply chain, and leadership teams to ensure strong execution and alignment across initiatives.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• 34 years of experience in Trade Marketing, Sales, or Category Management within FMCG, retail, or consumer brands.
• Post-graduation from a reputed B-school (MBA preferred).
• Strong understanding of retail dynamics across modern trade and general trade.
• Ability to execute on-ground marketing initiatives with attention to detail.
• Strong analytical thinking and market insight capabilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with high ownership.
