• The Precious Metals Trade Support Analyst is responsible for providing critical operational support to the precious metals trading desk, ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of trades, managing risk, and maintaining accurate records. This role requires a strong understanding of precious metals markets, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Your key responsibilities

• Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as required by the trading desk.

• Help Desk with Automating pricing reports and risk tools.

• Work with Stakeholders in Trade Ideation and Strategies.

• Monitor and reconcile daily trading activity, including spot, forwards, options, and other derivatives in precious metals.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on trading activity and positions.

• Liaise with traders, sales, operations, and finance teams to resolve trade-related issues.

• Calculate and monitor margin requirements for precious metals trading accounts.

Your skills and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in trade support, operations, or a related role within the financial services industry, ideally with exposure to precious metals.

• Strong understanding of precious metals markets, including spot, forwards, options, and other derivatives.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong numerical and analytical skills

• Preference for candidates comfortable with Python and SQL. Experience in other programming languages such as C++, Java, Matlab or R can be considered.
