About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented B2B Collections Manager to lead our collections team and optimize our accounts receivable process. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing B2B collections, particularly within large enterprises and government organizations, and possess strong leadership and communication skills. This role requires a hands-on approach and a deep understanding of compliance regulations related to TDS/LTC, SEZ, GST, Forex transfers, and advance settlements.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire B2B collections process, from order booking to payment posting, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers, including C-level executives, to facilitate timely payments and resolve any outstanding issues.
- Manage collections from government organizations, navigating their specific processes and ensuring compliance.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) by streamlining the AR process and identifying/eliminating inefficiencies.
- Lead and mentor a team of 10-15 collections professionals (direct and indirect reportee).
- Manage SOA reconciliations, SLA penalties, liquidated damages (LD), dispute resolution, debit/credit notes, and legal proceedings.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including TDS/LTC, SEZ, GST, Forex transfers, and advance settlements.
- Achieve number-based targets and KPIs related to collections performance.
- Regularly report on collections performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in B2B collections.
- Proven ability to effectively present and communicate with C-level executives.
- Extensive experience in dealing with large enterprises and government organizations and navigating their procurement and payment processes.
- Demonstrated success in reducing DSO and optimizing the AR process.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Hands-on experience with SOA reconciliations, SLA penalties, LD, dispute resolution, debit/credit notes, and legal proceedings.
- Comprehensive knowledge of TDS/LTC, SEZ, GST, Forex transfers, and advance settlement regulations.
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent Microsoft Office Skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
