Thunderhead-Smart DX Template and Developer - Cross Asset Structured Documentation Specialist

Job Summary:

As a Thunderhead-Smart DX Template and Developer - Cross Asset Structured Documentation Specialist within our technical team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining document automation solutions using SmartComms (formerly Thunderhead) and SmartDX. You will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and end users to enhance document generation processes while ensuring compliance with industry standards. This role offers the opportunity to balance your focus on business results by offering options and finding solutions to help our customers with issues.

Job Responsibilities

• Architect, design, build, and maintain high-quality SmartDX/Thunderhead document solutions across OTC Derivatives and Structured Securitization products to streamline business processes.
• Work with XML, JSON, and XPath to develop structured data-driven templates.
• Enhance document automation by leveraging scripting languages like JS and PowerShell.
• Collaborate closely with IT, DevOps, and cloud teams for regression, deployment, and maintenance.
• Conduct UAT testing on linked applications impacting SmartDX/Thunderhead Templates.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Drive best practices, documentation, and governance for SmartComms implementations.
• Engage in stakeholder interaction for business requirements at all stages of the development lifecycle.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of the document generation process.
• Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

• Hands-on experience in SmartDX/Thunderhead development.
• Good experience in Java, Java scripting & XML.
• Experience with API Integration (REST/SOAP) for SmartComms.
• Familiarity with Java and any other scripting language (PowerShell/Bash/Python).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git, Bitbucket).
• Cross Asset FX/Derivatives experience in a global financial institution, in a mix of business and technical capacities. 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

• Hands-on experience with SmartIQ, UiPath (Any other RPA tool) would be a bonus.
• Understanding and practical experience of front to back business processes in OTC & Securitized derivative products preferable.
