Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ThingWorx applications and mashups
- Validate data flows from other enterprise systems to ThingWorx dashboards
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing of ThingWorx services and UI components
- Test REST APIs and service bindings within ThingWorx
- Verify role-based access control and user permissions
- Collaborate with developers and solution architects to understand requirements and ensure test coverage
- Document defects, track issues, and support resolution using tools like JIRA
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives as part of Agile teams
- Support UAT and assist in preparing test reports and release documentation
Required Skills - Experience testing applications built on ThingWorx 8.x/9.x
- Familiarity with ThingWorx Mashups, ThingTemplates, ThingShapes, and Services
- Knowledge of Polarion ALM, Windchill PLM, or similar industrial integrations
- Proficiency in SQL, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS for validation and scripting
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MS SQL, or other relational databases
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
