Textile Senior Merchandiser

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Merchandiser at Tracon Export Services Pvt Ltd located in Gurugram.

Looking for Sr.-level Merchandiser with Home Textile experience preferably from an Export House

Minimum 10-12 years of experience required

Experience in sample development and production process (yarn dyeing, power loom and autoloom weaving of fabrics, stitching, embroidery, beadwork, printing etc)

Will assist Head Client Servicesin planning and controlling sample and production at theirown and vendor locations.

Good techno-commercial understanding to enable monitoring timely completion of production with relevant costing.

Evaluating Testing and packaging requirements for all orders, ensuring compliance with buyers protocols.

Time and quality management is a must

Must have dealt with the Production centre at a distance and direct dealings with overseas buyers and buying agencies

Must be willing to travel within India

Qualifications

Textile education is a must - (Diploma in Handloom & Textile Technology/ Diploma in TextileTechnology/ B. Tech in Textile Engineering)

Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and contribute to team goals

Knowledge of international markets, pricing, and sourcing

Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is a plus
