Role Summary

We are seeking a Textile Designer with a strong foundation in 2D design, colour theory, and concept visualization. This role involves hands-on design execution, mood board development, embellishment detailing, and supporting visual merchandising initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Create 2D textile designs and artwork using CorelDRAW with strong colour and trend sensibility
• Develop production-ready scalable artwork while maintaining design quality
• Prepare mood boards and concept presentations for collections and client proposals
• Support visual merchandising (VM) with curated colour stories and graphics
• Work on embellishment and surface detailing such as trims, placement motifs, and decorative elements
• Collaborate with product, sales, and VM teams for cohesive design execution
• Stay updated with the latest textile trends, finishes, effects, and materials

Skills & Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Textile Design / Fashion Design / Surface Design or related field
• Proficiency in CorelDRAW (mandatory)
• Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop is a plus
• Strong understanding of pattern, texture, placement, and colour composition
• Experience in mood boards, concept storytelling, and collection development
• Knowledge of production processes and scalable design preparation
• Embellishment design experience is desirable
• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Minimum 2+ years in textile/surface design for interiors, fashion, or home furnishings
