Section B: Defining the Purpose of the Job:
| Purpose | Motor test lab Engineer responsible to conduct tests on Electrical machines & to work with Government entities to obtain Statutory clearances |

| Defect Identification and Reporting | Conduct tests on Electrical machines including performance, efficiency and routine tests. |
| Compliance and Audit Readiness | Work with Government entities to obtain Statutory clearances (Viz. NABL, DoE, etc) |
| Process Improvement | Analysis of test results and deriving first cut observation report. Preparation of detailed test reports, including test methods and results. Maintain and improve quality documentation including control plans, PFMEAs, inspection plans, and work instructions. |
| Data Validation | Analyze validation data to ensure products meet specifications and identify any potential issues that need resolution. |

| Process Parameters | Collaborate with design and process engineering to define product specifications and process parameters. |
| Non-Conformance Analysis and CAPA | Support root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Report anomalies / deviations / non conformances in quality standards found during quality checks, inspections, tests to respective stakeholders including Production, Purchase, Supplier Development, other Quality sub-functions, as appropriate.
Assist in conducting and documenting Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA) to resolve issues and prevent recurrence |
| Process and Product Audits | Perform process and product audits to maintain quality compliance. Track status of related CAPAs raised and provide inputs on effectiveness of CAPA in practical work situation |
| Tool and Equipment Calibration Verification | Ensure tools and instruments used are calibrated and certified. |
